Position Title: HTNW Mental Health Administrator

Position Summary 

The Mental Health Administrator will provide essential administrative and operational support across multiple practice areas. This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of behavioral health operations, insurance processes, and regulatory requirements in Oregon and Washington. The position is part-time (20 hours) to start, with the opportunity to expand into a full-time (40 hours) role as our practice grows. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Billing & Revenue Cycle Management 

  • Manage client billing processes and claims submissions. 

  • Track and reconcile payments, denials, and remittances. 

  • Credentialing & Contracting 

  • Oversee provider credentialing and re-credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, and commercial insurers. 

  • Maintain compliance with payer requirements and timelines. 

  • Human Resources & Compliance Support 

  • Assist with onboarding, benefits administration, and staff support. 

  • Conduct chart audits and ensure documentation compliance with HTNW policies and state regulations. 

  • Support HR functions including scheduling, client referrals to clinicians, training coordination, and policy adherence. 

  • General Administrative Support 

  • Provide day-to-day operational assistance to the leadership team. 

  • Support special projects, grant compliance, and organizational growth initiatives. 

Qualifications 

  • Minimum 1 year of administrative experience in a behavioral health, medical, or related healthcare setting. 

  • Working knowledge of Oregon and Washington behavioral health regulations and policies. 

  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, and commercial insurance billing/credentialing processes. 

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. 

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and willingness to learn practice management systems (e.g., SimplePractice). 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in HR functions (benefits, onboarding, compliance). 

  • Prior work with multi-state behavioral health agencies. 

  • Bilingual or multilingual skills (Spanish preferred). 

Position Details 

  • Status: Part-time (with potential to grow into full-time). 

  • Compensation: Starting at $30 per hour. Eligible for benefits through HTNW. 

  • Location: Remote, with preference for candidates located in Oregon or Washington. 

  • Reports to: Executive Director/CEO.

What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for compassionate, dedicated professionals who meet the following qualifications

  • Due to high client demand, we have immediate full-time and part-time job openings for associate mental health clinicians in Oregon who are either looking for a brand-new career opportunity, or a supplemental income.

    If you have an associate license in social work and are a self-motivated clinician that is passionate about providing high-quality mental health care and solutions, we want to hear from you!

    Work from anywhere, on your own schedule! You will serve as an active part of a fully remote team that provides assessment and treatment services to adults who present with a wide range of mental health needs.

    Our goal is to assist individuals by helping them develop the necessary skills to improve their quality of life. Full time is considered to be at least 20 psychotherapy sessions per week.

    • Education: You must have completed a Master’s degree in Social Work

    • You must be licensed to practice in the state of OR

    • Hold a Clinical Social Work Associate (CSWA) credential

    • No disciplinary actions.

    • Exceptional interpersonal skills and sympathetic nature

    • Strong computer literacy skills

    • Able to work independently

    • Conduct ethical and compassionate individual mental and behavioral healthcare therapy via video chat

    • Use evidenced-based treatment modalities to facilitate individual treatments

    • Develop effective and individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of your clients

    • Help clients develop insights into their experience, feelings, and relationships

    • Monitor progress throughout the treatment plan, and help clients develop healthy coping mechanisms

    • Work Location: 100% virtual care in Oregon (WA & CA licensure a plus) - hybrid work is available!

    • License Requirement: Active Oregon CSWA required; dual licensure in WA and/or CA preferred

    • Compensation & Benefits: Starting $60/session for CSWAs; health benefits + PTO + 401(k) + life insurance. We pay for late cancellations and no-shows! We offer a $500 referral bonus for other CSWA clinicians that work with us.

    • Scheduling: Flexible; full-time = 20+ client hours/week (required for benefits)
