This is a hybrid clinical and leadership role. You start by building your own therapy caseload, then grow into clinical supervision and organizational clinical leadership while continuing to see clients.

Phase 1: Build your caseload. Build an active caseload of about 10–15 clients, averaging at least 13 completed sessions per week. You will learn HTNW’s clinical policies, documentation standards, electronic health record, administrative processes, and culture, working with our administrative, intake, and leadership teams.

Phase 2: Add supervision and leadership. Once you average about 13 completed sessions per week, you move into formal clinical supervision: assigned associate clinicians, individual supervision, rotating group supervision, and quality assurance work with our leadership team. Supervision is introduced gradually, based on organizational needs, associate assignments, and your eligibility under state licensing requirements.

Long term, the role balances direct clinical care, clinical supervision, and designated administrative duties.

Required

• Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in Oregon
• Qualified to supervise Oregon and Washington clinical associates within your authorized professional scope, including Clinical Social Work Associates (CSWAs), Oregon Professional Counselor Registered Associates, and the Washington equivalents
• Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision to prelicensed mental health professionals
• Knowledge of Oregon and Washington licensing requirements, professional ethics, documentation standards, and clinical risk management
• Washington clinical licensure, or willingness to obtain it and meet the applicable supervisor requirements
• Experience treating diverse populations, including LGBTQIA2S+ and neurodivergent individuals
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred

• Oregon LCSW, LPC, or LMFT with qualifications to supervise multiple associate disciplines
• Washington LPCSW, LMHC, or LMFT with qualifications to supervise multiple associate disciplines
• Active independent clinical licensure in both Oregon and Washington
• Experience supervising clinicians across multiple professional disciplines
• Experience in outpatient mental health, community behavioral health, or multidisciplinary group practices
• Familiarity with Oregon Health Plan, Washington Apple Health, documentation auditing, and utilization review
• Experience with clinical supervision training, case consultation, and staff development

Clinical services

• Build and maintain a caseload of about 10–15 clients, initially averaging at least 13 completed sessions per week
• Provide individual psychotherapy using evidence-based, affirming approaches
• Complete clinical documentation in line with HTNW policies and regulatory standards
• Coordinate care with other HTNW providers and support services

Clinical supervision

• Provide regularly scheduled individual supervision to assigned associate clinicians
• Facilitate group clinical supervision on a rotating schedule
• Make sure supervision practices meet Oregon and Washington licensing requirements
• Review clinical documentation, assessments, treatment plans, and discharge planning as appropriate
• Support supervisees’ professional development, ethical decision-making, and clinical competencies
• Provide consultation on complex cases, risk assessment, safety planning, and professional boundaries
• Keep required supervision records and professional development documentation
• Complete the Department of Health (DOH) and Board documents, reviews, and paperwork tied to each associate’s supervision requirements

Clinical leadership and quality assurance

• Work with HTNW leadership on clinical quality, documentation compliance, and associate development
• Take part in clinical consultations, quality improvement activities, and scheduled leadership meetings
• Help identify staff training needs and professional development opportunities
• Support consistent clinical standards across the organization
• Advise on clinical policies, risk management, and supervisory procedures

Compensation (salary range $91,780–$115,180)

• $90 per completed clinical session
• $90 per hour of individual or group clinical supervision
• $20 per hour for assigned administrative duties, about five hours per week once the full hybrid role is in place
